Primary Therapist Danny Seliger studied at Rhode Island College where he graduated cum laude with a double major in psychology and chemical dependency/addiction studies. Danny has worked as a substance use clinician in many different levels of care including outpatient, residential, and most recently in an acute psychiatric hospital. Danny’s experience in all these settings has given him a unique skill set in which he is able to treat a variety of substance use and co-occurring issues. Using a trauma informed approach, Danny is trained in numerous therapeutic modalities and specializes in REBT, solution focused brief therapy, and person-centered therapy.
Danny is an animal lover and spends much of his time outside of work in nature. He believes present moment awareness to be an invaluable tool to healthy living and incorporates this aesthetic into his practice with clients.
