Aliza Bogdanich brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for therapy and recovery to her role as a Primary Therapist at Ocean State Recovery Center in Johnston, Rhode Island. Aliza’s academic foundation is impressive, with a Master of Education in Counseling & Human Development and a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from Saint Lawrence University. Her education has equipped her with a strong understanding of human behavior, which she applies to her therapeutic practices. Before joining Ocean State Recovery Center, Aliza honed her skills in various settings, including Herren Wellness in Seekonk, MA, as a Life Coach, and Gosnold Treatment Center in Cataumet, MA, as a Counselor, where she provided comprehensive support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

At Ocean State Recovery Center since May 2023, Aliza has excelled in providing individual therapy, collaborating with external medical providers, and facilitating both psycho-educational and 12-step based group sessions. Her expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care has been pivotal in her role.
