Morgan LaFrance is a Licensed Clinical Social worker and a graduate of Rhode Island College’s advanced standing program. While completing her degree in clinical social work, Morgan began developing and practicing her skills at multiple agencies including the Empowerment Factory, Thundermist Health Center and The Providence Center. These agencies offered Morgan experience working with children and adults of all ages in both individual and group settings within schools, healthcare facilities and substance use programs. While in her Master’s program, Morgan participated in the RIISOIE grant project where she expanded her knowledge and passion for working with those impacted by substance use. Additionally, Morgan has been trained in multiple modalities of substance use and mental health treatment including CBT, harm reduction, SBIRT, psychotherapy and motivational interviewing.
Morgan approaches her work with clients with a strengths-based perspective and provides support to clients through her use of empathy and empowerment.
