Emily Gauthier

Primary Therapist

Emily grew up in New York and moved to RI when she was young. She has always taken a more specified passion towards the disease of addiction. Emily was accepted into the accelerated Masters program for social work and the Rhode Island Integrated Substance and Opioid Use Intervention Education (RIISOIE) project. She has spoken at different events regarding the stigma of the disease in hopes to spread awareness. Emily’s intention is to approach clients with the humanistic and strength based perspectives. She utilizes CBT, DBT, and ACT as therapeutic modalities along with furthering her knowledge in trauma informed care. 

Emily enjoys being outside, especially at the beach. Traveling to new places excites her the most. She love animals and has 2 cats. Emily likes staying active and enjoys reading and writing.
